Urban Fragility (2016)
Cities are fragile things, even when they look like they're thriving. In 2016 I found myself drawn to tower cranes as a symbol of that contradiction. They are structures that signal growth while simultaneously erasing what came before.
Working across mixed media, I used these structures to examine urban obsolescence and what it costs us emotionally when the built environment we know disappears almost overnight.
