Surface is a group exhibition that explores the concept of ‘surface’ in both its literal and figurative sense. The exhibition considers ‘surface’ as more than a physical boundary, to include the ways in which it transforms into narratives, emotions, interpretations and meanings.

Beyond the materiality of surfaces, the exhibition also delves into the act of surfacing, where the hidden aspects of our surroundings come into view. It considers the layers that reveal and conceal and explore the interconnectedness of the visible and the invisible, as that which is unseen, is brought to the fore.
